To ask that friend of yours, Is everything fine?
Hours turned into days, days into years, just like that
Years become a lifetime, then a jolt would make you realize.
You let go of a friend, coz you couldn’t make time;
You waited for an occasion to call, some special news to share.
You didn’t have time to tell, that I ‘m here & I care.
What are you waiting for, that bolt from the blue;
When will you call?Who will give you that clue?
But, don’t wait too long, life is too short.
Don’t shelve the moment, for making the call.
Coz regrets are not good for heart.
It’s heartbreaking to go through the phase;
When the shared smiles make you cry;
When you finally make that call, just to realize,
That your friend is not there, to hug you tight…
To hold you close and assure everything is fine.
